Educational Societies

The Educational society I would join is the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences. This society supports professionals who work with families and communities. It helps with leaders in communities who make decisions that will effect families and people in the community. I want to be a head football coach and I think this society would benefit me most. This society would help me when I have athletes who have troubled home lives. Troubled homes is very common with some student athletes. This society would give me tools and skills to be able to deal with parents and students who may have problems. A football coach is also a leader in the community. This society would also help me with decisions and changes that I will have say in around the community. Which as a football coach having good relationships with the community is very important and can determine how long you coach at that school. The society would also help with ideas and events to get the players families and community to support the school and team. Members in this society all over the world share ideas and help one another to better the life of others and the communities around them.
